There a lot of places where everyone can visits in Taiping, PERAK. Here are some suggestion fr0m me, so that everyone can decide where to go when all of you visit TAIPING!
1. Taiping Lake Garden


The Taiping Lake Gardens was originally a mining ground before it was established as a public garden in 1880. This 62 hectares of park is also known as Taman Tasik Taiping in the
Malay language. The huge lake was formerly a tin mine but was since
transformed into a beautiful well used and well maintained park where
flowers, birds, insects, animals and lush greenery thrive.
2. Zoo Taiping & Night Safari

Established in 1961, Taiping Zoo is the oldest zoological gardens in
Malaysia. It has 34 acres (140,000 m2) of space and exhibits various
animals such as amphibians, mammals and reptiles.It also has a night
safari. As the only zoo in
North Malaysia, it tends to receive a large amount of visitors. It houses the largest number of
stump-tailed macaques in Malaysia, which is thirteen, compared to six at the
National Zoo of Malaysia (Zoo Negara) and five at the
Malacca Zoo.
3. Maxwell Hill

Bukit Larut, formerly known as Maxwell Hill, is a popular highland
destination in Malaysia. Located at an altitude of 1,250 m above sea
level approximately 10 km from Taiping town in Perak; it is the wettest
area in the country which experiences the highest rainfall. Bukit Larut
is also home to the oldest hill station in Malaysia, built by William
Edward Maxwell, a British Assistant Resident in Perak, in 1884 to
provide a cool retreat for the colonial officials. In 1910, the hill
resort was gazetted as a permanent forest reserve.
4. Burmese Pool
Burmese Pool is a natural pools formed by the flowing streams from the hills of Bukit Larut, a popular weekend nature attraction among locals. Nestled
within the rainforest, visitors need to snake their way through Lake
Gardens, and look for the signboard posted towards Burmese Pool.
5. Perak Museum


The Perak Museum in Taiping is the first and oldest museum in Malaysia. The
Perak Museum is a public
museum located at the junction of Jalan Muzium (Museum Road) and Jalan Taming Sari (Main Road) in
Taiping, Perak,
Malaysia. It is the oldest museum in Malaysia and highlights the history of the state.
6. Clock Tower

The old Clock Tower in Taiping was built in the year of 1881. Originally made of wood, the structure rebuilt with bricks nine years later, in 1890.Later on, it was converted into The Taiping Visitor Information Center.
7. Taiping Railway Station (Keretapi Tanah Melayu)

The
Taiping railway station is a
Malaysian train station located at and named after the town of
Taiping,
Perak. It is the first railway station to be constructed in 1882. It's the first station was officiated by Sir Hugh Low.
The station itself was also one of the stations of the initial Taiping to Port Weld (now
Kuala Sepetang) railways until KTMB dismantled the rail line in the 1980s.
There are whole lot more places that everybody can visit in Taiping, but my suggestion will just end here!! hehehe...
